Linkage was developed by Hepsy Mkhungo and Mpopi Khupe who – through their consulting company Zevoli Growth Partners – seized the opportunity to create a solution that addresses a consistent challenge experienced by their corporate clients, which boiled down to corporate companies not having access to a digital solution that addresses the need for supplier diversity and development to drive sustainability within their organisation.
Hepsy brings a wealth of experience from the banking, consulting and project management, health, and FMCG industries.
As co-founder and director of sister-company Zevoli, Hepsy has consulted extensively on Enterprise Development and BEE and transformation strategy development and execution at Absa, Accenture, SAB, and the Development Bank of South Africa.
Recognised as a thought-leader in transforming and shaping progressive thinking in the Enterprise & Supplier Development space, her contribution to the industry is significant. It has resulted in several publications, including being featured in Entrepreneur magazine, being invited to speak at the United Nations in New York on the progress of MDGs from a corporate perspective, and participating at various international symposiums, such as the Anglo-American Enterprise Development Conference and the CSI Matter Conference on entrepreneurship and SMME development. She has been featured on SABC 3’s Morning Live and Summit TV, and conducted various radio interviews.
Hepsy holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Atlantic Union College and a Certificate in Management & Leadership from Henley Management College.
Mpopi gained in-depth knowledge and understanding of the various government legislations, and has made her a subject matter expert on the BEE and ESD industry and allowed her to work on multiple projects that speak to transformation and the development of entrepreneurs.
She has been instrumental in advising on BEE and Enterprise & Supplier Development strategies for various corporates in South Africa. Over the years, her commitment to transforming these industries has resulted in strategic partnerships that have been leveraged to ensure that projects are known for their quality and added value.
Mpopi holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University.
